The Council’s guiding principles are: 

· To engage, whenever possible, in an open dialogue with residents, showing no political bias to understand their current and future needs, and to explain how the Council will address these needs within the scope of its powers.
· To represent the interests of the people who live or work in Church Crookham.
· To provide high standard, cost-effective services through the use of finite resources in a responsible manner.
· To improve the quality of life for the residents through local projects or amenities, or by working together with other parishes, agencies or service providers to provide those projects.
